Not every home is conducive to raising a small, toy-breed puppy. Young children may be too rough. Puppy teeth may be too sharp. Work hours may be too long. Whatever the reason, families are often happier with a youngster that has passed “kindergarten”. With our graduates, we have done much of the work in starting a young puppy toward a successful, happy life as a companion dog with basic training such as house-breaking, walking on lead, crate training and clicker-based obedience.
